Description
Great River Health is seeking a strategic and collaborative Vice President of Pharmacy in Southeast Iowa to lead system-wide pharmacy services across three hospital campuses, four retail pharmacies, long-term care, and specialty pharmacy operations. This executive will drive clinical excellence, operational performance, and regulatory compliance while advancing medication management and patient outcomes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all pharmacy services
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and resource optimization
- Lead 340B program, supply chain operations, and medication safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards
- Partner with executive leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to improve care delivery
- Develop pharmacy leaders and build a high-performing team

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred)
- 7-9 years of progressive pharmacy leadership experience
- Strong background in healthcare operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance
- Iowa Pharmacist licensure (or eligibility within 90 days)
