Veterinary Assistant

Royersford Veterinary Hospital in Royersford, PA

$18-$20 per hour based on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones

Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy

Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas

Perform physical assessments and record your observations

Assist with appointments by providing low stress handling and vaccine preparation

Prepare estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients

Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions

Stock clinic treatment area and exam rooms, and inform the inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum one year of previous experience in a veterinary or animal handling role required

Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Able to multitask

Able to lift 50 pounds
