Requirements
Be part of something that’s changing how allied health works in regional Victoria.
The Allied Health Reliever Pool Pilot is an innovative initiative designed to strengthen the allied health workforce across the Loddon Mallee region. By providing high-quality leave cover, this program supports the wellbeing and sustainability of clinicians - while ensuring communities continue to access the care they need, when they need it.
This is more than a reliever role. It’s an opportunity to work across diverse health services, broaden your clinical experience and make a meaningful impact in rural and regional communities where access to allied health services is vital.
As part of the Reliever Pool, you will join a multidisciplinary team of Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Radiographers, Social Workers and Speech Pathologists. Ongoing positions are currently available for Physiotherapists and Podiatrists, while opportunities for all other disciplines remain fixed term. You will be employed by Bendigo Health and deployed across the Loddon Mallee Local Health Service Network (LMLHSN), with opportunities to work in settings such as Bendigo, Echuca, Mildura, Swan Hill and other regional communities.
You may work across a defined sub-region (Loddon, Murray or Mallee), providing flexibility while maintaining continuity and connection within local teams.
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care within your discipline across a variety of clinical settings
Work autonomously while integrating into interdisciplinary teams
Adapt quickly to new environments and contribute positively to team culture
Play a key role in improving service continuity and access to care across the region
