- Hospice/Palliative Care Medical Director - Paducah, Kentucky - recruiting incentives up to $200,000
Description
Well-established and mature inpatient palliative program initially opened 2017 with HPM board-certified medical director oversight and maintains a busy consult service currently staffed by 3 APRN and 1 LCSW. Recently added inpatient hospice services in conjunction with CON holder in the area. Growing outpatient clinic presence located in Oncology clinic with plans for expansion to other areas of outpatient need including heart failure, pulmonology and neurology.
Looking for a fellowship-trained, board-certified HPM physician looking to lead a strong existing clinical team and assume directorship over a mature inpatient/outpatient Palliative program. Need to be a strong and skilled communicator who can relate to patients with severe illness and guide an interdisciplinary team toward excellence in providing care to a complex population of patients.
Dedicated chaplain and strong alliance with AAHPM/HPNA and CAPC directives to support excellence and growth. All support staff either have or are pursuing HPM certification.
Services are currently inpatient focused with limited outpatient clinic time, with an exciting expansion planned into a growing outpatient clinic setting.
