Executive Chef

Advent Christian Village, Florida’s First Retirement Community, expressing Christ’s love in all we do, is seeking an experienced individual to direct dining services by leading culinary operations and ensuring exceptional, nutritious dining experiences in the community.  We serve members, visitors, and staff daily.  This leadership role will create a resident-centered, quality dining environment in multiple venues and for specially catered events.

• oversee daily food service preparations and delivery
• create enjoyable, nutritious, and diverse menus
• assist in hiring and developing BOH staff
• maintain strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and health regulations
• manage department budget, including food purchasing, inventory management, and cost controls
• prior experience in senior living or healthcare settings strongly preferred

Requirements

• minimum of 2 years’ experience in food service management required**
• CDM or culinary degree from recognized academic training program required**
• strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required**
