Overview
We are hiring and training entry-level Sleep Technicians to run in-lab sleep studies. This role follows a structured pathway to become a Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) and ultimately a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
No prior sleep experience required; we will train the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
Set up and monitor patients during overnight sleep studies
Apply sensors and ensure high-quality data collection
Observe and document sleep activity
Work under the supervision of a licensed technologist
Learn sleep medicine through hands-on training
Training & Career Path
Louisiana Sleep Technician Permit (12 months)
CPSGT eligibility within ~3 months (~400+ hours)
Progression to RPSGT (advanced certification)
Compensation
Starting pay: $17–$20/hr+ night shift differential ($2–$4/hr)
Increase to $22–$25/hr upon CPSGT certification
Growth to $28–$34/hr as an RPSGT
Certification bonuses available
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Healthcare experience preferred (CNA, MA, RT, etc.)
Comfortable working overnight shifts
