This is a senior leadership role supporting the Nursing Director and requires strong home health expertise, operational judgement, and full availability to meet the needs of an essential healthcare program.

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Home Health Services Nursing Director with the oversight, administration and management of all Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Home Health activities and programs operations, ensuring that patient care is coordinated and managed appropriately. The individual assists with the supervision of the clinical staff (nursing services), while maintaining a focus on ethical standards, patient satisfaction, and community health needs.

***This position is not remote and requires regular travel across service locations, as well as after-hours, weekend, and on-call availability as needed. The initial service location will begin in Hollywood, FL and eventually will include Brighton Reservation (Okeechobee, FL); Big Cypress Reservation (Clewiston, FL); Tampa Reservation, Immokalee Reservation (Immokalee, FL); Fort Pierce Reservation (Fort Pierce, FL).

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Nursing or related field is required. Master’s Degree in preferred. Possession of an active, current Registered Nurse License in the State of Florida and current CPR certification is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in health care management, preferably in home health care operations. Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel. Incumbent must possess excellent customer service skills and must be able to work independently or within diverse groups. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft software packages required. Ability to travel across reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
