This leader will develop a comprehensive annual fundraising plan, set goals through the budgeting process for new gifts and pledges, cash collections, and expenses, and create a strategic plan for the Foundation. They will monitor progress on revenue and other success measures, and manage expenses within budgeted expectations.
The Senior Vice President will ensure continuous mission support and lead the stewardship and distribution of charitable gifts across the organization. Acting as the senior major gifts and planned giving officer, the new leader will manage a portfolio of prospects and donors, cultivate relationships, and ensure long-term engagement through regular communication and impact reporting. They will design and implement strategies to grow and retain donors while identifying new opportunities. As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Vice President will contribute to strategic decisions on program management and development, and lead the Foundation staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
MorseLife’s next Senior Vice President of Foundation will be a mission-driven, strategic leader with a proven track record in fundraising and organizational transformation. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of philanthropy and experience building and scaling fundraising programs, including expertise in major gifts, planned giving, annual campaigns, and donor stewardship. Aligning the organization's philanthropic objectives with broader organizational priorities will be a key objective for the new Senior Vice President.
