Description
We are currently seeking an Orthodontic clinical assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to join our orthodontic practice. RDA certification preferred but willing to consider an upbeat, personable, and friendly dental assistant on the path to getting their RDA certification. Experience with orthodontic terminology will help you exceed from the start but we are able to teach all of the skills to a motivated individual.
Our office treats patients with conventional braces and clear aligners. This is a full time position 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday. It is a long-term position for a career oriented person who has a strong focus on excellence in communication and customer service. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in the dental field and working with older children, teenagers, and adults
RDA certificate and x-ray license preferred
The ability to take excellent orthodontic records – digital x-rays, photographs, impressions as well as digital scans
The ability to multi task and prioritize
Confident hand skills
Outstanding communication and organizational skills
Ability to give instructions to patients in a clear and understandable manner.
