The Role Summary
The Executive director of Westminster at Lake Ridge is responsible for executing strategic direction, operational excellence and continued financial success. The Executive director will be forward thinking regarding the future of senior living and will be innovative in their approach to identifying future delivery models for care and services to the elderly. They will embrace a person-centered philosophy.
The Executive director is responsible for maintaining the operational excellence of Westminster at Lake Ridge. They will inspire and empower our community management team to deliver exceptional experiences for both residents and employees. As Executive director, building genuine, meaningful relationships with residents, staff, and fellow leaders is essential.
This role requires a leader who can identify opportunities for improvement and who will be adept at managing anticipated changes in a mature, purposeful, considerate, and collaborative way. The successful candidate will build on the community’s main strengths while also assessing emerging trends in senior services that will further strengthen the organization’s ability to realize its mission.
The Executive director will oversee senior leadership team members in Dining Services, Plant Operations, Spiritual Life, Independent Living, Healthcare Services, and the Executive Assistant, while also partnering with Ingleside’s corporate matrixed partners in Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, and IT. This role reports directly to Ingleside’s Chief Operating Officer.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree in business administration, health administration or other applicable disciplines preferred.
Possession of, or eligibility to sit for, a Virginia Nursing Home Administrator’s license is preferred, but not required.
Seven to ten years of senior leadership experience in a CCRC/Life Plan Community or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skilled operationally: demonstrated history in designing and leading performance excellence initiatives resulting in continuous and sustained improvement.
Business acumen to include keen fiscal management skills. Evidence of successful financial oversight, performance assessment, management accountability, an outcomes orientation, and a demonstrated history in developing programs to enhance resident, family, and associate engagement.
Demonstrated history of success in project management and leading product and service development while ensuring a continued focus on maintaining high quality and financially viable service for existing residents.
Exceptional managerial abilities, outstanding interpersonal and diplomatic skills with empathy and genuine interest in collaborating with stakeholders throughout Westminster at Lake Ridge.
A history in instilling a culture of accountability, team building, effective delegation, and staff development and retention across an organization.
