Description
Veterinary Assistant / Customer Service RepresentativeWe're a dynamic, top-rated veterinary practice that specializes in house call care, and we're looking for a smart, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual to join our office team full-time. This position blends client service with hands-on support for our veterinarians during house calls, helping us provide compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families.
About the Position
This is, first and foremost, a client service role. Our clients value that every member of our team is kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about helping them and their pets. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential, along with comfort using technology and learning new systems. Previous experience in a veterinary practice is a strong plus.
In addition to front-line client communication by phone, email, and text, you'll contribute to other key areas of the practice, such as:
- Researching medical questions and treatment information for our doctors
- Preparing and shipping medications to patients
- Maintaining accurate and organized medical records
- Assisting veterinarians during house call appointments as needed
While prior veterinary experience is preferred, we're happy to train the right candidate who brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a passion for helping animals and their people.
Schedule
The schedule is mainly Monday through Friday, but we do ask for some flexibility to fill in on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) when needed to support the team.
